This home made version avoids fillers, stabilizers and only contains what is necessary. unlike Coco Lopez which contains: Coconut, Sugar, Water, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan monostearate, Salt, Propylene glycol alginate, Mono and diglycerides, Citric acid, Guar gum, Locust bean gum. It does have a shorter shelf life but once you try it in a couple of cocktails you will be sold.
It also works out to be a third cheaper to make than to buy. Which is perfect for anyone who wants to save some money and have the best Cream of Coconut possible.

INGREDIENTS
 
 

  • 14 oz Cocnut Milk
  • 13.25 oz Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine all the ingredients into a saucepan
    14 oz Cocnut Milk, 13.25 oz Sugar, Pinch of Salt
  • Place on a low heat on the stove top
  • Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. (colour changes from white to partially transparent)
