It is commonly used as a sweetener and flavoring for coffee-based drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and iced coffees. Coffee syrup can also be used as a topping for desserts, pancakes, and waffles, or as an ingredient in baking. It is available in a variety of flavors, including vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, and chocolate, among others.
