Green Chaud Hot Chocolate
Verte Chaud, also known as “hot green,” is a delicious version of spiked hot chocolate that is traditionally consumed as a apres-ski beverage in the French Alps. Both chocolate and chartreuse have been around for quite some time. This mixture was well established long before the word cocktail became a part of the language; however, we do not know if the idea originated from one of the monks at the Grand Chartreuse who were responsible for making the alcoholic beverage. In either case, the result is something that is superior to the sum of its parts, and as a result, we wholeheartedly endorse it.
