Galliano Vanilla

Galliano Vanilla is a type of liqueur that is known for its rich and creamy vanilla flavor. It belongs to the Galliano family of liqueurs, which includes several other popular varieties like Galliano Original, Galliano Ristretto, and Galliano L’Autentico.

The production of Galliano Vanilla involves the careful blending of natural vanilla flavorings with other botanicals and herbs to create a distinct and well-balanced taste. The end result is a sweet and smooth liqueur with a strong vanilla flavor that is often used to add a touch of sweetness to cocktails or desserts.

Galliano Vanilla is a popular ingredient in many cocktails, including the Vanilla Russian, which is a variation of the classic White Russian. This drink combines Galliano Vanilla with vodka and cream for a delicious and indulgent treat. Another popular cocktail that features Galliano Vanilla is the Galliano Vanilla Fizz, which includes lemon juice, sugar, soda water, and of course, Galliano Vanilla.

Aside from cocktails, Galliano Vanilla can also be used to add a sweet and flavorful touch to other drinks like coffee or hot chocolate. Its smooth and creamy taste makes it an excellent addition to any dessert recipe that calls for vanilla flavoring.

Galliano Vanilla is a relatively new addition to the Galliano family of liqueurs. The Galliano brand was originally founded in 1896 by Italian distiller and brand owner Arturo Vaccari. The original Galliano recipe, known as Galliano L’Autentico, was created by Vaccari as a tribute to the famous Italian soldier Giuseppe Galliano. This recipe included a blend of over 30 different botanicals and herbs, including anise, juniper, and lavender.

In 2010, the Galliano brand introduced a new flavor to its lineup: Galliano Vanilla. This new liqueur was developed as a response to the growing demand for flavored liqueurs in the market. Galliano Vanilla was created using the same base recipe as Galliano L’Autentico, but with the addition of natural vanilla flavorings.

The introduction of Galliano Vanilla has proven to be a success, with the liqueur quickly becoming a popular ingredient in many cocktails and dessert recipes. The sweet and creamy vanilla flavor has been well-received by both consumers and bartenders, and the liqueur has earned a reputation as a versatile and flavorful addition to any bar or kitchen.

Today, Galliano Vanilla continues to be produced by the Galliano brand, which is now owned by Dutch beverage company Lucas Bols. The brand has expanded its product lineup over the years, introducing new flavors like Galliano Ristretto and Galliano L’Aperitivo, but Galliano Vanilla remains a beloved classic among cocktail enthusiasts and dessert lovers alike.

The ABV (alcohol by volume) of Galliano Vanilla is 30%.
