Screwdriver

According to an article that appeared in the October 24, 1949 issue of Time magazine, the origins of the Classic Screwdriver cocktail can be traced all the way back to 1949, when American oil engineers working in the desert would covertly mix orange juice with vodka and stir the mixture with a screwdriver. The elegance of the Screwdriver is found in its uncomplicated design. It is simple to make a highball drink by combining orange juice and vodka in a highball glass. Give it a shot, and then report back to us with your thoughts.
