Vodka Berry Spritz
However, in honor, of this day being international margarita day, Stefan suggested that I make a margarita from diffordsguide.com. And, you know what I thought it was a really good idea.
And you can also check out his website that has a ton of information and recipes and references for those people that want to make cocktails at home. Or for the bartender who wants to just spice up their trade with other recipes that they do not normally use. Now, the recipe that he suggested to me make was called a margarita on the rocks and it is different recipe.
I am going to change it just a little bit. And the reason I am doing that is his recipe contains. Different margarita bitters, which I do not have. What I do have, however, is this, this is a habanero tincture and I have made this like, so chop up two habanero peppers finally placed them into a glass Mason jar and add two ounces, 60 milliliters of a neutral grain spirit.
Put the lid on, put it on a shelf in a cool dark space to sit for two to three days, filter it out through a coffee, filter into a glass jar, put the cork on it. And it will last indefinitely. And now that I have done that, we are going to use that in place of his bitters. And this is going to give his recipe just a little bit of a twist that zip, that fires that I really like.
