However, I am going to change up this Margarita On The Rocks just a little bit. And the reason I am doing that is his recipe contains margarita bitters, which I do not have. What I do have, however, is this, a habanero tincture that I made.

Today I show you how to make a Margarita On The Rocks. This easy Margarita Recipe is balanced and very easy to drink with just a hint of spice. The recipe was created by Simon Difford of I created a Habanero Tincture to use in place of the Diffords Margarita bitters.



  • Add all ingredients to the shaker glass.
    1.5 oz Reposado Tequila, .75 oz Triple Sec, .75 oz Lime Juice, .2 oz Agave Syrup, 1/2 Pinch of Salt, 4 Drops Habanero Tincture
  • Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
  • Pour into rocks glass over fresh Ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.
