In honor of International Margarita Day, I will make a Margarita On The Rocks from diffordsguide.com. You can check out this site; it has a ton of information, recipes, and references for those who want to make cocktails at home or for the bartender who wants to spice up their trade with other recipes not usually use.
However, I am going to change up this Margarita On The Rocks just a little bit. And the reason I am doing that is his recipe contains margarita bitters, which I do not have. What I do have, however, is this, a habanero tincture that I made.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila
- .75 oz Triple Sec
- .75 oz Lime Juice
- .2 oz Agave Syrup
- ½ Pinch of Salt
- 4 Drops Habanero Tincture
EQUIPMENT
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all ingredients to the shaker glass.1.5 oz Reposado Tequila, .75 oz Triple Sec, .75 oz Lime Juice, .2 oz Agave Syrup, 1/2 Pinch of Salt, 4 Drops Habanero Tincture
- Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
- Pour into rocks glass over fresh Ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
