Long Cosmo Cocktail
The Long Cosmo is a variation of the Cosmopolitan cocktail. The original was popularized in the 1998 HBO television show Sex In The City, which was based on the column written by Candice Bushnell. But what happens when you put it into a tall glass and change the proportions. What you get is a Cosmo that is balanced between the lime, orange, and cranberry flavors with a light sweetness that is very easy to drink.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- .5 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1.5 oz Cranberry Juice
- 1.5 oz Soda Water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add the first four ingredients to a tall Glass and stir.1.5 oz Vodka, .5 oz Triple Sec, 1 oz Simple Syrup, 1 oz Lime Juice
- Add ice to the glass.
- Using a spoon layer the cranberry juice on top leaving space for the soda water.1.5 oz Cranberry Juice
- Float the soda water on top.1.5 oz Soda Water
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
