Monte Cassino

The Monte Cassino Cocktail was created by Damon Dyer of the Louis 649 Bar in New York, and he made it for Benedictine’s 500th Anniversary cocktail competition. This is an equal parts cocktail based on The Last Word and the Final Ward. It is well balanced and so easy to drink. Try the Monte Cassino Cocktail out, and let us know what you think.

Ingredients
 
 

  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Rye Whiskey
  • .75 oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • .75 oz D.O.M. Benedictine

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the shaker glass.
    .75 oz Lemon Juice, .75 oz Rye Whiskey, .75 oz Yellow Chartreuse, .75 oz D.O.M. Benedictine
  • Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
  • Fine strain into a coupe.
  • Garnish with a Lemon Twist.
