The Classic Midori Sour Cocktail was invented in 1978 and debuted at the Studio 54 Nightclub in New York City. It’s a classic nightclub cocktail that remained popular into the 1990s. Recently, with Midori melon liqueur’s resurgence, this cocktail has risen in visibility and popularity. Midori Sour Cocktail

Classic Midori Sour


  • 1.5 oz Midori
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz Soda Water


  • Add all the ingredients to the shaker glass except the soda water.
    1.5 oz Midori, 1 oz Vodka, .5 oz Lime Juice, .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • Shake with ice for 10 seconds.
  • Pour into a highball glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with soda water.
    2 oz Soda Water
  • Garnish with 2 cherries.
