The Midnight Stinger. Sam Ross created the Midnight Stinger, the co-owner of Attaboy in New York and is an adaptation of the Stinger cocktail and a sour/Italian digestivo. The lemon and bourbon tie the Fernet-Branca together and are gently lightened with the simple syrup.
Midnight Stinger Cocktail
- 1 oz Fernet-Branca
- 1 oz Bourbon
- .75 oz Lemon Juice
- .75 oz Simple Syrup
- Add all ingredients to the shaker glass.1 oz Fernet-Branca, 1 oz Bourbon, .75 oz Lemon Juice, .75 oz Simple Syrup
- Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a mint sprig.
