Flying Grasshopper Cocktail

Flying Grasshopper

The Flying Grasshopper Cocktail. The original drink, “The Grasshopper,” derives its name from the green colour, which comes from Crème de Menthe and was invented in a bar in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, called Tujague’s. There are claims that the drink was created in 1919 by Philibert Guichet jr, or as some will disagree, in the 1920s. However, as with all great things, some intrepid bartenders decided to make a Flying Grasshopper variation.
