Devil’s Margarita

The Devil’s Margarita is a simple cocktail that can be layered for the Halloween holiday. A flavorful spin on a traditional cocktail is achieved by adding wine and tequila to the mix. The Blanco Tequila, which has notes of citrus and pepper, is a required ingredient in the recipe. Additionally, using simple syrup rather than agave syrup enables the other components to take centre stage. In order to achieve a flavour profile that is all its own, the Devil’s Margarita borrows a trick from the Whiskey Sour and adds a layer of red wine on top. Give it a shot, and then share your feedback with me.
