The Bourbon Bird Cocktail, a variation of the Jungle Bird, is a great way to try a new combination of ingredients. I substituted a high-proof Bourbon for Rum and replaced the Campari with Amaro Montenegro. The bourbon and Amaro create a slightly sweet but spicy cocktail that is very balanced. - 1.5 oz Bourbon
- 75 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice
- 5 oz Lime Juice
- 5 oz Simple Syrup
- Add all of the ingredients to the shaker glass.1.5 oz Bourbon, 75 oz Amaro Montenegro, 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice, 5 oz Lime Juice, 5 oz Simple Syrup
- Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
