Aviation

The recipe for the Aviation cocktail can be found in Hugo Ensslin’s book “Recipes for Mixed Drinks,” which was published in the early 20th century. Hugo published this book in 1916 while he was working at a hotel in New York City called the Wallick. However, because Creme de Violette is no longer available to purchase, this cocktail has largely faded into obscurity over the course of the intervening years. In 2007, Creme de Violette was released, and at the same time, Aviation was making a comeback in the fashion world. Classic

The lemon flavour dominates the Aviation drink, which causes it to be unbalanced and sour. As a result, there are many different versions of this drink. To counteract this, we will be adding additional Creme de Violette as well as some simple syrup. This results in a flavour that has a floral quality and is well-balanced and pleasant to drink. Give it a shot, and then report back to us with your thoughts.
