Aqua Velva

Aqua Velva cocktail is a blue cocktail that can be seen in the 2007 movie Zodiac and is the go-to drink for the central character Robert Graysmith, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. This blue cocktail is light with citrus flavors and underlying hints of juniper. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1.25 oz Vodka
  • 1.25 oz Dry Gin
  • .75 oz Blue Curaçao
  • 4 oz Lemon Lime Soda

Equipment

Instructions

  • Add the first three ingredients to a shaker glass.
    1.25 oz Vodka, 1.25 oz Dry Gin, .75 oz Blue Curaçao
  • Add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
  • Pour into a hurricane glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with Lemon Lime soda.
    4 oz Lemon Lime Soda
  • Garnish with a Lemon wedge.
