Ancient Mariner
The Ancient Marinier Cocktail was created in 1994 when Jeff “Beach Bum” Berry came up with a variation of Trader Vic’s Navy Grog, an interpretation of a Donn Beach classic. The extra effort was definitely worth the outcomes. The Ancient Mariner has an appealing combination of rums, grapefruit, and lime juices, just like Donn Beach’s rendition of the Navy Grog. It is noteworthy that it also includes allspice dram, which adds fragrant baking-spice overtones. Try it out and let us know what you think.
