The Bahama Mama Cocktail is a drink that you can enjoy on the back deck or in the house. The exciting thing about the Bahama Mama Cocktail is that nobody knows where it comes from. Who it is named after, why it is called the way it is, or is the exact recipe for it? Some of the origin stories that you have are that it was created in The Bahamas during the prohibition era when running rum up into the U.S.
The other thing is that, as possibly named after a Mamba dancer in the 1930s, Named Bahama Mamba. That was Dottie Lee Anderson. So, there's a couple of interesting stories there, which is excellent.
INGREDIENTS
- .5 oz Grenadine
- 1 oz White Rum
- 1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
- .5 oz Dark Rum
- 2 oz Orange Juice
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice

- Build in glass in order of ingredients..5 oz Grenadine, 1 oz White Rum, 1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum, .5 oz Dark Rum, 2 oz Orange Juice, 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- Garnish with Orange Wheel and Maraschino Cherry.
